Shuttle Service

Our vehicle provides door-to-door round trip service, both from La Antigua or from Guatemala City. Each way takes some two hours.

Public Transportation from La Antigua

Buses leave from La Antigua (backside of the market) at 07:00 a.m. with intervals of one hour and head to Escuintla. The bus companies that take you there are Transportes Ruiz and Dorita. Ask the driver's assistant to drop you off at the station where the buses depart to Sipacate. In Sipacate you ask the driver to drop you off at the gas station and from there take a tuk-tuk or mini cab to the point known as El Escondite. Escondite is a very small public pier on the shores of one small channel. Leave the tuk-tuk and take the public boat that goes to El Paredon, which takes some 10 minutes. Ask the boat driver to leave you at the CHICONES' pier. From there walk two blocks into town and then turn right, walk another 30 meters and the last property on your left side is our camp. The journey will take around 4 hours.

Public Transportation from Lake Atitlan

In whichever town you are located, you have to either take a boat or a bus (whatever is easiest) and head to San Lucas Toliman. From there you can take a bus to Cocales (an intersection at highway CA2). From Cocales take another bus to Siquinala, and from here another bus to Sipacate. Ask the drivers assistant to drop you off at the gas station in Sipacate and take a tuk-tuk or mini cab to the point known as El Escondite. Public Transportation from Guatemala City

First take a cab from wherever you are to the bus terminal known as EL TREBOL. Ask the taxi driver to drop you off at the ESMERALDA bus station, located on the south-west side of the Trebol intersection. Make sure you board the bus that goes to SIPACATE (this should take some 5 hours).
